Local Actions

The Participatory place-making activities is the key to reaching the project’s ultimate objective, which is to enhance the participation of young women from diverse backgrounds in urban planning by creating a significant impact in the local context. Each partner is responsible to ensure the implementation of the local participatory actions on the local level in their cities (Sabadel 🇪🇸, Athens 🇬🇷, Erfurt 🇩🇪 and Brussels 🇧🇪).

The local participatory actions come as a result of the previous actions of the project (creation of shared ToolBox, Training of Trainers (ToT)) since the tools and methodologies used will be based on the tools/methods that all 4 partners collected. The partners will use the shared ToolBox, and train the youth workers during the ToT.
 

The participatory placemaking actions will be a robust result of theoretical background and previous research that all the partners will share in the last activities and the preparation phase.
Each partner will choose adequate tools and adapt them to the local needs and context. The activities will provide sufficient context, support, time, and resources to the local youth to actively participate in the city-making, emphasizing the needs and desires of young women.
